| If a city is compared to a person, the streets are the bones of the city, and the buildings in the city are its muscles and skin. The urban context is like the blood vessel of a city, and the blood flowing in the blood vessel is history and culture. The health and vitality of a city cannot be separated from the continuous fresh nutrients provided by the urban context and historical culture.Today, the urbanization rate in China has exceeded 60%.Although our cities have achieved rapid development and construction, many "urban problems",such as the fracture of urban context, the disappearance of urban characteristics and the decline of competitiveness, have been buried for many cities, including Lanzhou. While we are facing the problems, although we have put forward some countermeasures, but due to various reasons, some problems have not been effectively solved. As far as Lanzhou is concerned, problems such as chaotic urban landscape, declining urban livability and brain drain caused by the loss of "homesickness" complex have become increasingly serious. When we move from the development path of "seeking quantity and speed" to the road of "high quality development",how to make our city "high quality development" and "healthy and sustainable development" will be an important topic. This paper is based on the city of Lanzhou to achieve "high quality development" to provide a feasible path.Focusing on the restoration and continuation of the urban context, urban characteristics and the overall urban environment to improve the city’s cultural influence. In this paper, the historical city of Lanzhou is selected as the research object, and the historical evolution and the development of historical culture of the historic city of Lanzhou are taken as the starting point.Through reading relevant historical materials and documents, the source of the historical city is traced and sorted out,and the information about various cultural heritages in the historic city of Lanzhou is obtained.Through field investigation and survey, the present situation of Lanzhou historic city is investigated and analyzed, and the performance of urban context at all levels in Lanzhou historical city is expounded. At the same time, the problems existing in the present situation are listed and described. Then, based on the explicit and implicit elements of urban context, the Delphi method is used to assign and score each element by issuing questionnaires to experts in relevant fields. Then, the results are sorted out and the social network analysis method is used to conduct degree centrality analysis, intermediate centrality analysis and middleman analysis.Through comprehensive ranking, the key elements of the urban context of Lanzhou historic district are obtained: landform, spatial form, architectural environment and historical culture.Taking the four key elements as the core, combining with the fractal theory and other methods, based on the practical difficulties of the historic city of Lanzhou, this paper proposes the restoration strategies of the urban context of the historic city of Lanzhou at the landscape level, city level and historical and cultural level. Finally, the paper puts forward the corresponding principles and strategies from different levels to the protection and continuation of the urban context of Lanzhou historic city.Today,as the beginning year of the 14 th Five-Year Plan and the vision goal of 2035,the "high-quality development" of cities will be an inevitable trend, and the restoration and inheritance of urban historical context may become an important direction of development.Through this study, combing the historical city of lanzhou city cultural context, through the relevant research methods to get the key elements of the urban context in downtown lanzhou city history,at the same time around the key elements of the urban context repair method was discussed, and the protection of urban context and the continuation of work put forward some Suggestions. It is hoped that this study can arouse people’s attention to the restoration and continuation of urban context, and also contribute to the future urban planning work. |
