Study On The Evolution Of Urban Spatial Morphology In Jialing River Basin

Jialing River is a tributary of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.Since the ancient times,it is the birthplace of the city,which originated in the Qinling Mountains at the northern foot of Baoji City Fengxian County,named after Jialing Valley in Feng County.For many years there has been no major diversion,therefore,most of the coastal cities have a long history.The Jialing River is fan-shaped and flows through the main cities of Baoji,Hanzhong,Guangyuan,Nanchong,Chongqing and so on,thousands of years,nourished the coastal residents,shaping a special watershed living environment.Jialing River basin has abundant natural and human resources,strong cultural heritage,obvious urban spatial pattern characteristics.In the deeply advance of the new urbanization construction today,the river basin ecological environment coordinated,the healthy development of urban spatial form is the key to the sustainable development of human settlements in the basin environment.Since the "Western Development" strategy has been proposed,the western region,especially in the Jialing River as the representative of the construction of the basin has made considerable progress.Jialing River basin strategic position highlights in this situation.However,the lack of understanding of the particularity of the river basin cities,resulting in urban construction in a crowded space,urban disorderly sprawls,the deterioration of the ecological environment and other urban problems,eventually leading to Jialing River Basin urban spatial form disorder.Therefore,my instructor has built a series of research topics on the study of "urban human settlements in Jialing River Basin".The study division in six sections,including urban spatial form,economic development and urban system,urbanization,urban land intensive utilization,urban disaster prevention and mitigation,Green Infrastructure(GI),etc.Each section is independent but interrelated,hoping that through this study on the river basin city construction theory,this paper can make a meaningful exploration,with a view to China's rapid urbanization under the city,especially the construction Environmental conditions are complex,human settlements fragile Jialing River Basin River city planning and construction of the benefit to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the city.The urban form is the important manifestation of the urbanization process,the different resource endowments,the different historical and cultural precipitation,the different geographical location,the expansion of the urban space on different terrain and geomorphology,the functional space succession,the group spatial integration inevitably leads to the difference of the urban spatial form development and evolution.However the study on the evolution of urban spatial under the background of the rapid urban development has important practical significance.Based on this background,the paper undertakes the study of the urban spatial form of the Jialing River basin,taking the time as a clue,from the ancient times,the modern times,the contemporary times,the different types and the development background of nearly 80 cities as the research case,Jialing River Basin in the upper and lower reaches of the hydrological,geological,ecological and other natural endowment conditions,choose a number of different river basin flow,soil vegetation differences,different river relationship,urbanization process of different cities,the use of traditional morphology and historical data analysis methods This paper analyzes the evolution process,influencing factors and dynamic mechanism of urban spatial form evolution influenced by Jialing River Basin,and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the optimization of urban spatial form.This paper is divided into seven chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,sorting out the relevant research progress at home and abroad as the theoretical support of this paper.The second chapter is an overview of the whole city of Jialing River basin.The third chapter,the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter from the similar structure and characteristics of the division of city development stage of the modern era and the modern period of ancient period,each period,Jialing River basin characteristics of city spatial form analysis: 1)of each period city of Jialing River basin development background and development of the whole city overview;2)method in the historic graphic analysis of typical city spatial form;3)summarizes the types and characteristics of the elements of city spatial form in each period;4)summed up the characteristics of the times,elements of city spatial form structure,impact factors and dynamic mechanism.The sixth chapter is about the characteristics of urban spatial form evolution and optimization.First summarizes the evolution and trend of main city spatial form basin,based on the analysis of its internal logic,and finally put forward the optimization of Jialing River Valley city space form strategies and suggestions on current problems.The seventh chapter is conclusion and prospect.
