Research On Analysis Method Of Old Urban Districts Regeneration Design

The development of city can be traced back to the distant past.For the meaning of the city and its role in the development of human civilization,different people have different recognition and understanding from different angles and aspects.The human beings create the environment,on the contrary,the environment affects the human beings.Renovation of the old urban areas on the natural environment quality,ecological landscape quality and cultural environment quality can exert a series of influence.This influence can be both positive and negative.Over the past thirty years,the transformation of the old urban areas in all-reconstruction practice has been stopped.Many countries have to re-evaluate the significance of old buildings in the old urban areas transformation and think that the old building is a kind of resource that stores what can be used now,but the construction of the new skyscraper wastes a lot of energies.At the same time,it is widely recognized that the coexistence and gradual growth of the city has its own advantages and inevitability.There are two ways in dealing with the relationship between new buildings and old buildings.In the specific approach,the general trend is to strive to protect the original structure of the old urban districts under the premise of embedding some small modified buildings,emphasizing the depth of the study of urban history and focusing on the status quo.At the same time,the analysis is from such levels as urban-district-neighborhood-group-monomer,but not simply to rebuild the tradition and restore history.Different times of material traces always coexist with each other in the urban environment construction and development--"the city itself should be an educating,living and orderly museum."At the same time,the transformation of old urban districts can not only stay in the surface level.Nowadays China’s most urgent and important work is the investigation of the present urban situation and the re-evaluation of the integrated value of the old urban districts.The more profound culture and history the city has,the more detailed investigation it should be carried out.The areas with suitable conditions shall format important blocks and single buildings into a situation map,and establishes archives and evaluation records of its construction age,housing property rights,the use conditions,facade,the retention value,the status of the adjacent buildings and the proposes.The various methods of urban design are necessary means to carry out the design and the implementation of the project in the renewal of the old urban districts.It provides effective technical support for the organization of the urban renewal design process.The various methods used in the design of modern cities are gradually improved with the development of the urban design field itself.The application development,such as virtual reality technology,digital simulation analysis,GIS,space syntax,multimedia technology,the theoretical model of related disciplines,GPS,Internet and other digital technology analysis methods in urban design marks that the digital technology innovation platform of urban design is gradually formed.The analysis method of digital-city design technology improves the spatial level from immense scale to the fine scale,and increases the comprehensive ability of spatial and morphological study including social,economy,environment,human activities and other factors.The analysis method of digital-city design technology also expands the depth and breadth of spatial research,strengthens the quantitative analysis of urban design,improves the system of modern urban design,tools and practices,and enhances the scientific and rational urban design,so as to break through the traditional urban design experience and the limitation of technical method.All of these make it possible to establish an objective judgment standard,which can profoundly affect the future development of urban design disciplines.As a kind of rational analysis tool which can be used from the whole city to the locality,space syntax proves that there is a correlation between spatial form and spatial function in empirical research and quantitative analysis in China.The spatial form plays the role of feedback and influence to human use function and activities,and there is inherent logic between the form and function.We finally no longer rely on intuitive thinking to carry out spatial research,planning and design.Space syntax has provided a rational scientific system of auxiliary means.China’s new urbanization and the transformation of urban development provide a broader application prospect for space syntax,and they face more stock-land planning and design issues in the old urban district.The analysis of spatial network and vision of the old urban districts in space syntax plays an important role on the preliminary research of traffic network darn,the function and intensity of land determination,public space system,and the increase of the area vitality and other aspects.It can also make pr-evaluation of the implementation of planning and design,and change the intuitive experience for the design and construction planning at the same time,which provides technical support to avoid the large-scale demolition and construction that ignores the built environment.There is no difference between culture and form in this way and the method itself,and it can be adapted to China’s urban and residential environment analysis from the empirical results.To this end,the paper is divided into six logical components and there are a total of six chapters:Chapter One is the introduction part.It clarifies the background,the research purpose and the significance,summarizes the domestic and foreign theoretical research and the practice achievement,and combs the research method and frame,which lays the foundation for the later chapters.Chapter Two reviews the related theories of the urban renewal design and its basic characteristics,summarizes the lessons of successful experiences and failure lessons,and puts forward the problems in the renewal of old urban districts in China,which provides a framework for the study of the later chapters.Chapter Three analyzes the methods of the urban renewal design,summarizes some important analytical methods and effective methods of the urban renewal design,and puts forward the importance of the digital quantitative analysis method,which paves the way for bedding the space syntax at the later chapters.Chapter Four analyzes the space syntax theory and research methods in detail,and the concrete application and technical methods of spatial syntax in urban renewal design are summarized.The fifth chapter is the design and practice part.Based on the analysis of the space syntax of Shapingba central area of Chongqing City,this paper summarizes the evolved characteristics of its spatial network structure and street network status,and puts forward the corresponding update strategy and method recommendations.The Sixth Chapter summarizes the research contents,and puts forward the shortcomings of the study and the hope for the future study.
