During the past 100 years,global warming is one of main manidestations of environmental degradation,with the core reason that excessive energy consumption produces a large amount of grennhouse gas emisiions.As one of the main part of energy consumption,construction has become the focus of greenhouse gas emission control.China has been one of the lagest greenhouse gases emitter,and the construction energy consumption accounts for about one-fifth of the total energy consumption.So,how to go a good job of consutruciton energy saving in China is vitally important to slow down the global warming process.To achieve the premise of building energy efficiency is to explore the building energy consumption growth driving force,i.e.,the influcing factor of building energy consumption,but the vast geographical area of China inebitably lead to the energy consumption and influencing factors differences among Chinese regions.Therefore,developing energy-saving emission reduction policies in line with the characteristics of regional development can be based on the regional research of building energy consumption influencing factors,so as to achieve the national and global targets on energy-saving emission reduction.Based on the regional development conditions,the study summarize the exisiting research in domestic and foregin of influencing factors of building energy consumption.First,six control variables of regional energy consumption in China were choosen,and the data of building energy consumtion and influencing factors were collected and analyzed by statistical method.Next,a model of 'Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population,Affluence,and Technology'(STIRPAT)was established to study the influencing factors of building energy consumtion in regions of China,and the model has been carried out and the validity of the calculation results has been tested.It is concluded that the model has good applicability and validity to the regional influencing factors of building energy consumption in China.Last,through the status of region development and influencing factors,the conclusions of the study were as follows:?China's building enrgy consumtion is in the rapid growth stage,and the growth rate was significantly higher than the population and economic development speed.? All of 6 factors have a positive impact on building energy consumtion,indicating that in China,the buiding energy consumption level is still in the first stage of "Environmental Kuznets Curve".? There are obvious differences in building energy consumption influencing factors of various regions of China.When the regions are neibour,they have similar characteristics.And the urbanization rate has become the core influencing factors of building energy consumption of China and most regions.After the discussion,according to the conclusion of the study,the paper the paper puts forward some suggestions on the energy saving and emission reduction of macro and regional synergistic development.The research results of this study can not only provide reference for the strategy and focus of national energy-saving emission reduction policy,but also provide reference for China's environmental impact research.Meanwhile,it can be the basis of Chinese population,economic,scientific and technological policy's decision-making.
