The Traditional College Form And Its Application In Modern Design

Guanzhong college is one of the four academies in Ming and Qing Dynasties in China,the first of the northwest academy,which plays an important role in the history of academy in china.So far,the history of other famous academies are mostly fly ash annihilation,only the Guanzhong academy still exists as a school,adhere to their own research,education and faith.Despite four hundred years of wind and rain,the Guanzhong academy is still relatively intact to retain the space and the shape of the building form,is a study of the traditional architectural culture of China’s rare "live academy".So,this paper takes Guanzhong academy as the research object,combined with the four college China famous history,trying to carry on the detailed analysis through the remains of the single building and building community combination,provide some useful reference for future college architecture creation.Compared with other civil or official buildings,the academy building reflects the traditional Chinese cultural thought more clearly.As the material carrier of Chinese traditional culture,whether it is from the academy building layout,form,or to create a space environment have paid more attention to the order and harmony,fully reflects the essence of Chinese traditional culture,"Li" and”Yue" system,which has significance in today’s increasingly.There are many advanced planning concepts but also there are many disadvantages in current campus planning,how the traditional college unique architectural space layout used in the contemporary university campus space,traditional academy building and shape characteristics of Applied Research in the modern university campus is an area worth exploring.This building typology,the phenomenology of architecture and ecological architecture theory of modern architecture theory,analyzing the ancient traditional academy shape,space and its main monomer layout form,trying to explore the implication type characteristic,in the ancient traditional academy in place spirit and they contain ecological spirit.At the same time,the domestic research in university campus of the traditional college form,place spirit and ecological thinking and examples of successful reference:Fudan University,Xi’an Jiao Tong University,Xi’an University Of Architecture And Technology as an example to analyze its method of Caotang campus college morphology and heritage academy culture spirit.Finally,with an example of traditional academy development,combining with the design practice of Xi’an University Of Architecture And Technology Caotang campus,the method and experience of others research results and successful cases to use my.This paper makes a design practice of the traditional architectural style of the college,and makes a beneficial exploration on how to use the architectural form of the traditional college in the present campus.All of this work will enable us to have a deeper understanding of architectural creation,that is,anyAll the architectural creation should be based on the specific historical culture,otherwise it would be nothing.So,in the futureIn the architectural creation,we can avoid the design of a mere formality,and neglect the building should bear the hi story Cultural meaning.
