In the information era with developed new media,because of global economic integration,informatization and development of science and technology,the differences between architectures in different regions are narrowed,and the characteristics of urban architecture are disappearing.In order to solve this crisis,it is an effective way to study the local architectural form under the specific cultural background and dig the regional architectural culture,making it a part of both local and global culture.As an educational institution of classical culture communication and inheritance,academies have formed a rich and important cultural power in the past thousands of years,affecting the ancient Chinese education and political civilization.This study focuses on Hunan Zhaoshan Scenic Area,hoping to use the landscape resources to create tourism scenic spots,solve the problem of livability and promote the local economic development.Through the rational design of the relations between architecture and natural landscape,culture and history,this paper seeks to solve the problem of rural livability.Hunan Zhaoshan Scenic Area is a famous cultural scenic spot in China.It is a place where scholars and officials live,with rich cultural and historical resources.This paper has four parts.First,this paper conducts research on the emergence and evolution of the Academy and the characteristics and cultural origin of the Academy,and introduce academy culture,Neo-Confucianism and Chinese ancient scholar culture,exploring the space analysis of academy under the "rites" system culture.Second,this paper reviewed related literature in this area.Third,this paper explores the modern academy and academy culture,the traditional academy of the spatial layout,architectural decoration and color,the construction of artistic conception and the transformation of aesthetic content.Fourth,this paper uses Tanzhou Academy as an example,analyzing the integration of the academy culture and local geographical and humanity resources from the perspective of architectural function design,design principles,decoration,display,etc.,verifying the role of characteristic architectures play in promoting the culture heritage of the academy culture,in order to consider the relations between modern architectural design and the Chinese academy culture.By studying the design of Tanzhou Academy in Zhaoshan Scenic Area,Hunan Province,this paper helps reshape the educational function of academy culture and the spread of academy culture,thus promoting the inheritance of traditional culture.
