Study Ontheregional Traffic Improvementand Evaluation Of Harbin Railway Station

How to solve the problem of traffic congestion in Harbin Railway Station area and solve the problem of the traffic chaos in Harbin railway station area which has been troubling Harbin railway station for a long time is a difficult problem in the comprehensive transformation of the Harbin Railway Station hub for many years.Harbin railway station regional traffic network structure is not reasonable now,such as broken road,deformity intersection,leading to traffic congestion,poor access,and the public travel inconvenient in the peak time,seriously affecting Harbin railway station ’s image as the external of the important town portal of Northeast Asia.With the implementation of the planning of Harbin Railway Station Square in front of the north and south station improvement project,Harbin railway station regional road network transformation is imminent.The paper proposes a network improvement scheme and evaluation of the scheme,based on analysis of Harbin railway station area traffic at present and the traffic demand prediction in the future.Firstly,the author has analyzed the geographical characteristics of Harbin Railway Station,carded a historical relationship between Harbin Railway and urban development,conducted a survey within regional traffic conditions on the adjacent railway station and external transport organization,systematically analyzed three aspects of the station location factors,regional transport network,traffic organization,discussed the reasons of traffic congestion in Harbin Railway Station area.Secondly,the author has classified and predicted passenger demand,statistically analyzed historical data of Harbin Railway Station,using generation rate,growth rate method,elastic coefficient method,time series modeling to quantitatively predict Harbin Railway Station passenger demand,acquiring results of the passenger volume prediction of Harbin Railway Station and Bus station,the attracted traffic volume prediction of schools,hospitals,commercial,residential,and shared traffic volume of main roads in Harbin Railway Station area.Then,it points out the status of the road network in the existing problems by the analysis of Harbin Railway Station regional road network.To solve these problems,the traffic surveys have been conducted to evaluate Harbin Railway Station regional road network status.Combined with the results of the evaluation,it is proposed to widen the roads.Focused on solving traffic jamming point within the network,the scheme improves the service level of the road.According to the traffic characteristics of Harbin train station after transformation,the traffic organization of the regional road network during transformation period is designed.After the transformation is completed,giving explanation of road external transport network and road network.Finally,the Harbin Railway Station area network structure is evaluated,the level of network service and Comprehensive efficiency before and after the implementation of the scheme.Then using gray comprehensive evaluation to evaluate and compare current situation and the earlier one.Results of the evaluation show connectivity,transfer time,the level of network service and capacity of roads are significantly better after the implementation of the scheme.Harbin railway station area improvement scheme can provide greater traffic space to improvement for Harbin railway station railway passenger transport facilities,the square in front of the station and other adjacent areas transformation of traffic,in the same time,it also can provide a reference for the same types of domestic railway station traffic improvement in the region.
