With the rapid development of commercial economy and residents' living standard in China,the improvement of commercial building is characterized by increasing number,enlarging scale,multiple function and property transformation.As a significant part of commercial building's components,the exterior space is obtaining increasing attention from consumers,local residents,urban planners and designers.The improvement of commercial building's exterior space has fulfilled consumption styles and remolded consumption habits.Meanwhile,commercial building's exterior space is equipped with multiple functions,including commercial building's interior space and urban exterior space,which means that it has close relationship with urban spatial patterns and spatial forms from deeper perspective.Commercial building's exterior space in cold-region city is usually restricted and affected by subjective and objective,natural and artificial factors.Firstly,long duration of winter and severe climate situation in winter is negative to consumption process.Secondly,consumers requirements are rarely focused which leads to unreasonable design results.Thirdly,the planning and design of commercial building's exterior space usually separated from urban planning which affects the operation of urban function and the urban systematic and all-round development.Based on optimizing the developing situation and solving the problems occurs in the process,this research inducts KANO-QFD integrated model to realize the target.By opening source of QFD and joining KANO model to analyze the weight of commercial building's exterior space design factors.The application of KANO-QFD integrated model leads to a new method for precise design of exterior space,which also attributes to the research method system.Before questionnaire survey with consumers using commercial building's exterior space,the research gathers a series of consumer's requirements which covers the fields of activity types,activity field scope,pedestrians and vehicles path organization,parking,landscape,infrastructure,building fa?ade and exterior environment by literature reading,expert interviews and field survey firstly to seek direct design advice from consumers using commercial building exterior space.Then,by sorting the investigation results and removing unrelated elements,the research obtains 13 major terms and 31 minor terms including commercial location,traffic accessibility and infrastructure to form the main parts of survey questionnaire.Through interviews with consumers,the research gathers,classifies,filtering the requirements and stratifies the requirements as necessary requirement,desirable requirement and charismatic requirement.According to the survey results,the research divides the exterior space optimization into openness optimization,accessibility optimization,urbanization optimization,climate adaptability optimization and distinctiveness optimization.According to existed negative situations,characteristics and consumer's requirements,the research raises commercial building's exterior space design optimization measures and strategies.By introducing KANO-QFD integrated model to value consumer's requirements,the research combines research level,design level and service level together to promote design level of commercial building's exterior space in cold-region cities.Finally,the research aims at improving economic benefits,cultural benefits and social benefits of commercial building's exterior space in cold-region cities as urban hall.
