Building energy consumption accounts for the proportion of the total energy consumption in China increased year by year,especially for heating and air conditioning systems,which accounts for more than half of the building energy consumption.Therefore,reducing energy consumption of heating system has a very important impact on building energy efficiency.At present,the end of heating system in our country lack of effective means of adjustment,which leads to waste of energy in heating system.Research shows that,through the installation of temperature control valve at the end of the heating system,not only can achieve independent control of indoor temperature,but also avoid waste of energy.Therefore,the research on the flow regulation characteristics of temperature control valve is very important to the control accuracy of temperature control valve and building energy efficiency.In this paper,the flow regulation characteristics and the resistance coefficient of the temperature control valve are studied by the combination of experimental test and three-dimensional numerical simulation.First of all,by the theory of fluid mechanics knowledge,to design the principle diagram,plan and system diagram of temperature control valve performance testing platform,the range and precision of calculation of temperature control valve performance test equipment required,choose suitable experimental equipment and sensors,to build experimental bench test temperature control valve flow control performance.Secondly,the performance of temperature control valve is studied experimentally.By changing the test conditions of the experimental system,the flow coefficient and the resistance coefficient of the thermostatic valve are changed with the relative opening of the temperature control valve.The influence of the pressure changes of the control measurement system and the frequency change of the circulating water pump on the flow coefficient and the resistance coefficient of the thermostatic valve are studied respectively.The experimental research shows that the flow characteristics of the thermostatic valve are quick flow characteristics.Temperature control valve opening in the same,with the control and measurement system of pressure temperature control valve performance test rig,elevated circulating pump frequency increases,the temperature control valve flow coefficient increasing,the resistance coefficient has a decreasing trend.Then,the numerical simulation of the existing temperature control valve is carried out by using Fluent numerical simulation software.The model is modeled by 3D modeling software.The model is meshed,and the appropriate turbulence model is selected in the numerical simulation setting.Select the same boundary conditions as the experimental test to set.The model of temperature control valve with different relative opening is simulated.The velocity field and pressure field of the internal flow passage of the temperature control valve are analyzed by the simulation results,and the numerical simulation results are compared with th e experimental results.The comparison results show that the flow coefficient and the resistance coefficient of the thermostatic valve vary with the relative opening of the temperature control valve,which are consistent with the experimental results.Mean while,the accuracy of the experimental study and numerical analysis is verified.Finally,the numerical simulation method is adopted to optimize the structure of the temperature control valve to improve the flow regulating performance of the temperature control valve body.
