China is a big country in the production of cables,at present,most of the high voltage cables are using XLPE cable.According to the latest information released by the national Power Grid Corp in 2016 shows that China's demand for 6~500kV cable is about 900 thousands kilometers.In the face of increasing the development of power industry and the huge demand for XLPE cable,industrialization has reached a prosperous period of mass production,but China is not a power country in manufacturing cable aspect.High-end specialty cable can not be manufactured and low-end product quality level is not high which also lead to large consumption.One of the main reasons for this phenomenon is because Chinese only realize the bottom automation control in cable production.The underlying production data is not collected and preserved,which also can not achieve the upper level of centralized management and monitoring,and therefore can not monitor the quality of production,can only rely on the production of sampling.With the development of network technology in recent years,and the important position of monitoring system in the process of enterprise production and management,establish a set of XLPE cable production line intelligent monitoring system,it is necessary to monitor the process of XLPE cable production continuously,which not only can find problems and solve as soon as possible,but also can increase safety and production efficiency.The main research work in this paper includes:(1)XLPE cable production process including drawing,hinge,insulation,shielding,cabling,sheath and so on.This article selects some of the important and complex insulation process as the research object.Study the problem of cross linked tube temperature control,analysis of the characteristics of the different heating zones temperature changes,and establish temperature control object's mathematical model.(2)Put forward the XLPE temperature control tuning methods based on the fuzzy self-tuning PID,and simulate the proposed method of mathematical model for temperature control.The experimental results show that the proposed methods are better than the classic PID control method.(3)According to the technical requirements of the industrial field temperature control equipment,the PLC based on the fuzzy self-tuning PID temperature control method is realized,which lays the foundation for the practical application.(4)Using the KingView to develop the monitoring system software,and design the HMI production process of XLPE cable.The monitoring and control system for the production process of XLPE cable was run and tested which achieved the expected good results.
