Study On Architectural Form Of Traditional Residence Under The Influence Of Regional Culture In Jingdezhen

Traditional residence is probably the earliest architectural type since the emergence of humans.As an indispensable component of Chinese historical relics,it has various styles,distinct architectural forms and marked regional features.During the process of modernization,however,traditional residence was coming to decline.At the time of those traditional residences are almost forgotten,fortunately,architects start to look for old memories,dig cultural charm of traditional residence,integrate regional culture into modern architecture,and bring back the essence of architecture at last.Therefore,it is very urgent to study and inherit traditional Chinese residence formed under specific regional culture.Jiangxi province has its own unique geographical environment and profound historical and cultural background.During its long development,it gradually formed traditional residence featured the local history and culture.There are distinct regional and cultural characteristics on respect of architectural form and spatial layout in Jingdezhen.This paper focuses on study of architectural forms of traditional residence under the influence of regional culture in Jingdezhen.Started from cultural perspective,explores and concludes reasons and factors that influence the form of local culture.Then discusses overall features of local traditional residence from historical perspective.Explores historical development process and distribution of traditional residence.Based on large numbers of residence survey materials and field data analysis,to features of the local architectural form,analyzes on both “outside” and “inside” from architectural perspective,and points out differences between in Jingdezhen and other regions.In the last,explores aesthetic features of traditional residence there from the perspective of construct aesthetics,sums up its major principals of aesthetics.The study has special values on protection of historic and cultural cities and instructing regional modern architecture design,provides theoretical basis for further research.
