With the development of urban spatial pattern,the urban planning presents a trend of high-level and high density,the central business district(CBD)has gradually become the engine of regional economic development and the area where people live and work.Therefore,the quality of outdoor wind environment of CBD has attracted increasing attentions.A bad winter outdoor wind environment cause great impacts on people's outdoor activities in cold region.Since winter heating will lead to the aggravation of haze,winter outdoor wind speed needs to strike a balance between haze removal and windproof.The analysis and optimization of outdoor wind environment in cold region is of great significance to improve the safety,comfort and convenience of living environment as well as the sustainable development of human settlements.This paper analyses current research situation of the outdoor wind environment and demonstrates the accuracy of CFD software.Besides,a wind environment evaluation index system of this study is established by summarizing existing wind environment assessment policies and standards.After that,taking the software park CBD of Xi'an high tech Zone as an example,the basic data of wind field are determined through data collection and field measurement.Based on the measured data,the wind environment of the study area is briefly analyzed.On the basis of that,this paper uses PHOENICS to simulate the wind environment of the software park CBD and the results show that the relative error is controlled at 10%,which verifies the accuracy of the simulation.The simulation results are analyzed by the evaluation index system,and then the reasons of the weak wind area and the strong wind area are studied emphatically.Based on the simulation results,some corresponding optimization strategies are put forward.In order to study the influence of architectural layout of block scale on wind environment and provide the reference for the future planning,numerical simulations and analyses of two different cases were made.Studies have shown that the local strong wind can be avoided by optimizing the shape of building corner,setting reasonable building spacing,scattering at random,setting terraced building shape and constructing surrounding commercial podiums,which can help to protect against winter wind in cold regions.
