With the rapid development of urbanization, large scale of urban residential districtbecomes more and more big, so as the layout. Therefore, people living in residential districtpay more and more highly attention to wind environment outdoors. Building windenvironment is mainly related to the safety and comfort of residents, community climateand residents’ health, the spread of pollutants and air self-purification, green building andenergy saving, etc. Currently, it is becoming a hotpot that making comfort windenvironment outdoors in residential district. There are many factors in residential districtabout wind environment outdoors, such as building layout, size, spacing, wind directionangle and so on.In this paper, mainly using Fluent Airpak software to have a research on the influenceof different construction layout of residential district about wind environment outdoors.Firstly this paper carries on the model of RNG, in this way, to have a simulation analysis ofsingle and group construction, and then, have a comparison with standard model calculatedvalue and wind tunnel test results, in order to the effectiveness and reliability of thenumerical results. On this basis, to four kinds of simple layouts commercial buildings,having a wind environment numerical simulation analysis and comparison in different winddirection, having a conclusion that in the top right-hand corner of L commercial building,this improvement of wind environment in the whole residential quarter is the best.Lastly in the paper, there have a wind environment numerical simulation and analysisfor a large business residential area under different wind direction in Tianjin, concluding therelationship between the business for residential area outside and wind environment. At thesame time, there have a field test of wind velocity in winter conditions and verify theaccuracy results of simulation.
