Common rail diesel engine with the common rail system and electronic control system achieve accurate injection and stable combustion, for the aim of the increasingly stringent emission performance, fuel economy, ride comfort, power and other comprehensive needs,by the flexible control for fuel injection, common rail pressure, the number of injection times and other parameters. Therefore the engine calibration MAP becomes an important part of the engine research process. The traditional all-parameters test has been infeasible, because the electronic-control system has been more and more complex and the engine use more and more actuators and sensors. In order to reduce the engine calibration work cycle and improve the efficiency, the point-by-point model calibration is studied,on the basis of the global model calibration. After the basic work such as basic protection calibration, fraction torque calibration, basic sensor calibration, engine performance calibration and so on,aiming at the calibration of the engine emission, the fuel economy as the optimization target, the engine combustion parameters as input,do the point by point model calibration study. In this paper, the space test design scheme is used to design the test points under the working conditions. The online calibration work part and the test data are collected by the combination of the electronic control station and the INCA calibration software; The quadratic polynomial mixing RBF neural network is used to optimize the input parameters of the engine; The interpolation is used to complete the MAP mapping; The optimized result is verified by drum discharge. It is proved by the drum test that the point-by-point model calibration can meet the requirements of the current national five emission regulations and improve the fuel economy,on the basis of greatly reducing the engine calibration cycle and improving the overall calibration efficiency of the engine.
