Metro project contains more than 20 specialties in the design process,such as building,structure,ventilation,communication,water supply and drainage,and so on. It causes the difficulties of collaborative design, such as low design efficiency and frequent rework in construction. These difficulties lead to great challenges for engineering construction management and the maintenance management. As the second revolution in the field of construction, BIM (Building Information Model)provides a possible way for solving these problems.In this thesis, the BIM technology is introduced in the design phase of metro project. Based on the study of collaborative design method of metro project,a novel solution of metro project BIM collaborative design is proposed, and the feasibility of the method is verified in the project. The main work is as follows:1. The actual characteristics and design requirements of metro project is studied.The characteristics and adaptability of working set model and link model are analyzed based on Revit.As the sub model collaborative design mode can give full play to advantages the advantages of two design mode, it can be determined that sub models using in the collaborative design of subway project.2. The logic relation and information expression of metro specialty design is studied. The BIM design philosophy and business process reengineering is used to optimize the metro engineering BIM collaborative design process, and a novel metro collaborative design model with BIM is proposed.3.Some key techniques are discussed,including establishing collaborative design team and organizational structure,as well as model accuracy and quality control.In order to solve data mutual referring management and engineering statistics questions,the corresponding solution is put forward.4.By application of the proposed solutions in this thesis to an actual metro engineer project,proves the feasibility of multi-specialties collaborative process reengineering based on BIM.The result of this thesis provides a new idea for solving metro engineering problems in the process of collaborative design and a reference for the applications of BIM technology to design enterprise.
