Research Of The Methods Of Planning And Design For Piedmont Road Landscape

With the rapid development of China’s economy,Especially in recent years,the rapid development of the short distance suburban tourism accelerated the process of urbanization.As the framework of the city,the road is a comprehensive reflection of the city’s economic,cultural and political levels.A piedmont city has more charm in roads with the topographical variety and unique natural landscape pattern.At present,our country has the phenomenon that the landscape planning and design of piedmont road just work for its function,this cause losting road,s regional characteristics and landscape image style.At the same time,a lot of ecological problems need to be solved urgently.Under this background,exploring the method of landscape planning and design of the piedmont road has become very important.The research using literature citations,field research and other methods to build the planning and design method of piedmont road.The framework of this thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter combed the development law of road,elaborated the background,purpose,significance,methods and framework,This will show clearly orientation to research on road landscape planning and design in such a city;The second chapter is the review,probes into the road basic theory,landscape characteristics,road landscape planning and design basis landscape ingredients,It is a foundation for the research;The third chapter is the key part of the study,which explored the planning and design methods of piedmont road;this part excavated the characteristic of piedmont area and major existing problems in a mountainous city,combed the planning system of piedmont road.Then on the base of these,this paper summarizes basic principles,design elements and design strategy.Design strategy contains piedmont road landscape design steps,road alignment planning,spatial organization design,plantation landscape design,road node design;The fourth chapter using the general road landscape planning and design for the northern piedmont of Qinling,Xi’an section as an empirical study.To testify the feasibility and universal application of this road landscape planning and design theory and method.Through the four parts of the theoretical research and analysis,the thesis generally summarized the content and innovation of the thesis,just the design strategy of the piedmont road landscape,summarized the principles and design methods of road alignment planning,spatial organization,landscape greening and road node and then,given an outlook of the piedmont road.
