| The piedmont of north Qinling Mountains is the foothills formed by the junction of the Qinling Mountains and the Guanzhong Plain where the ancient capital Xi’an is located. It faces the threat of urban growth. The landscape fragmentation is serious, which shows a series of problems such as the disorder expansion of the village patches, the increase of the patch density in the development and construction, the absence of the patch buffer zone in the garden, the continuous reduction of the woodland patches and the obstruction of the river corridor,an increasing number of road corridors and segmentation of farmland matrix. This paper aims to solve the problem of landscape fragmentation in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.By exploring the relationship between the spatial pattern and the ecological process, the structure process coupling system is established, and the spatial pattern optimization method based on the connectivity analysis of key processes is proposed. The regional ecology networks are constructed from three aspects of macroscopic, meso and micro levels.Guidelines for spatial pattern optimization are established and relevant strategies are put forward. The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which focuses on the research background, research object, research purpose, research significance, literature review, research methods and research framework of the paper. The second chapter is related concepts and theory, first of all,the related concept is defined, and a pattern-process coupling system is established.Secondly, the relationship between the pattern and the process is analyzed and summarized from two aspects of theory and mechanism. Finally, the author proposes the planning and design application approach based on the pattern-process coupling theory. The third chapter begins with the status quo description and problem identification of the Lao River basin.By diagnosing the current spatial pattern of the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains, the problem is focused on the fragmentation of the regional landscape. The fourth chapter is the research of pattern and process coupling mechanism of Laoyu in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.First the relationship between the pattern and process within the region is analyzed, and then the key process is selected in the study area to carry out a landscape connectivity analysis, and the least resistance surface model is used to calculate the minimum umulative resistance surface of each key process.Chapter 5 is the study of the optimization research of the spatial pattern of Laoyu in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains. The author proposes the regional macro-optimization scheme, the medium-vision planning guideline, and the micro-optimization strategy: establishing the regional ecological network through the identification of corridors and nodes to form a complete network system for regional landscapes.Spatial pattern optimization guidelines and corresponding micro-optimization strategies is proposed based on key processes to change the landscape fragmentation of Laoyu in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains. The sixth chapter is the conclusion, summarizes the main research results of this paper, and puts forward the deficiencies of the research and future prospects of this paper. This article aims at analysing the relationship between the pattern and process, from the theoretical study to the specific practice of Laoyu in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains, providing a new perspective and structure optimization method for the solution of the fragmentation of the ecological issues. There are three innovation points: First,a coupling system is built.A pattern-process coupling system is built.A three-level structure-process relationship and intrinsic coupling mechanism is proposed to guide the analysis and study of the pattern and process relationship of Laoyu in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains.Second, the coupling mechanism is analyzed. The author specifically analyses the coupling relationship between spatial patterns and ecological processes in Laoyu in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains. The landscape connectivity of key processes is researched based on its internal mechanism.Third, the optimization method is proposed.According to the actual situation and practical problems in Laoyu in the piedmont of north Qinling Mountains,a three-in-one spatial pattern optimization method for the construction of ecological networks, guidance control, and strategy optimization is proposed on the basis of the analysis of the relationship between the pattern and the process. |
