Power which provides more comfort and convenience for people working environment and living environment creates the condition,has been widely used.And it has become an integral part of energy and tools in the life.Information and networking of the modern society,is realized on the basis of electrification and power supply.However,if the power supply was broken off accidentally,this accident would make serious and far-reaching impact on the customers.As an important part of the power system,a substation is a link between the power plant and the user,as well as one between transformation and distribution of electrical energy.It directly affects the safe and economic operation of power system,which attracts many scholars to study on.In this paper,based on the analysis of the current development of power supply and distribution system for civil buildings,the 10 kV substation electrical system as the research object,and the automatic substation building will be researched on.This paper introduces the research status and development trend of substation at home and abroad,and further studies on the electrical system in substation.First,it analyses the primary connection of 10 kV substation.Second,a survey is made on the annual load-curve of different kinds of buildings in Nanchang.An optimization model of transformers,which is built based on load curve gained from a large number of project information,is solved with genetic algorithm(Genetic Algorithm,GA).And these solved results are compared with one by the way that the transformers are gained from calculation of load capacity by using the empirical formula method in the design of architecture for distribution system,which verifies that the accuracy and practicality of the former one.Third,an automatic model of substation and database of parameters,which can store the technical parameters of electric equipment in designs of substation,based on selection of electrical equipment in the substation,is set up.Finally,the model is solved with Particle Swarm Optimization algorithms(Particle Swarm Optimization,PSO),and parameters,such as capacity of transformer,rated primary current of current transformer,rated breaking current of circuit breakers.And the results are linked to correspondent database,which returns the brand and parameters of required equipment to the source program and an optimal option of equipment is gained with(Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP).Therefore,the automatic construction of substation is completed.And the research of good economical efficiency and practicability is verified with actual projects in the designing process of transformer in substation.It provides practical value to the development of automation system in substation.And it is adaptable to future development of power system.
