Equal base circle bevel gear is a new kind of gear based on the method of modern material control processing by controlling the relative motion between tools and gear billets,and processing the gear that keeps unchanged under any cone distance' s equivalent gear base circle radius.The research is carried out on the basis of the fundamentals of equal base circle bevel gear processing:1 Setting up gear m athematical model: Based on the funda mentals of equal base circle bevel gear 's forming,and solving gear toothed portion and tool trail equation,working out tooth flank equa tion and toot h root transition equation,figuring out method of toothed porti on and tooth lead modification,and finally set ting up method of tooth flank topology modification.2 TCA: This paper composed before and after cone gear 's tooth contact analysed program,on this basis,it further analysed equal base circle cone gear 's meshing features and trans mission features,and di scussed designing and for ming of t ools,meanwhile,it researched modi fication of t ooth flank bas ed on tooth direction a nd tooth profile.Without errors of installing,it compared and investigated errors of cone gear transmission before and after modification and trails of gear flank contact.3 Tooth flank static contact mechanical analyse and modal shape analysis: Before using finite element software Hyper mesh,and dividing gear grid;Applying ANSYSWorkbench finite element software to analyse gear 's meshing static contact mechanical features,and finally working out cone gear 's stress change and str ess deformation;by modal analysis obtained the gear's modal shape.4 Equal base circle bevel gear 's meshing,cutt ing and sti mulate: Using UG to produce gear exact 3D model,and doing invented rolling test a nalyse;Using VERICUT and UG numerical co ntrolling software to i mitate,stimulate and process cone gear,which provides real operation example,and effective method and tools for the research of other meshing transmission.5 Numerical control technique: On the nu merical control machine,using finger-shaped hobbing and ball-end cutter actually processing a pair of equal base circle gear.Through analyzing equal base circle bevel gear's mode of gearing and function of load bear,it de monstrated a certain guidanc e of realizi ng gear pr ocessing and improving gear meshing,and finally providing the theoretical base of equal base circle bevel gear promotion and application.
