Typical underwater human-machine interactions,in general,are equipped with a magnetic reed switch or a rotary switch or a hydraulic key.Touch screen technology is a convenient and easy-to-operate human-machine interaction technique.This paper examines assessed the feasibility of applying the touch screen technologies in the underwater environment,based on existing sensors and touch screen technologies.1.This paper first describes the background,significance and current situation of the human-machine interaction technique,and introduces the principle,application,relative merits of three commonly used underwater human-machine interaction methods.A feasibility study on development and utilization of touch screen and sensors in underwater is introduced.2.Light traveling features in seawater are then analyzed.The effect of infrared correlation photoelectric sensor operating distance with simulative ocean environment is discussed.This effect is theoretical basis for the possibility of applying touch screen technology in the underwater environment.3.Based on the theoretical framework,the paper designs a machine of infrared touch screen with a type of underwater control interface.The watertight machine will be used under water.There are many problems to resolve in the process of design and debugging of machine.Solution has been found after an analysis of phenomenon.Parts of experiments are practical value for project.
