Automotive electronic control technology plays more and more important role in the automotive.The both performances of fuel and comfort of vehicle are greatly improved by using the electronic control technology.The complexities of the ECU function and internal structure generate the both heavy workloads and high cost for traditional vehicle and bench test.At present,the performance of engine is tested by the combination of simulation and bench test.In this paper,the GDI engine hardware in the loop simulation platform based on enDYNA is developed by using the V model development process.The simulation and hardware in the loop simulation environment is provided to verify the effectiveness of the engine control algorithm.Based on the platform,the virtual engine is constructed by using the enDYNA software.The host computer and HIL cabinet is applied to test the overall performance of the engine.The platform meets the requirements the both of simulation testing and ECU function verification.The development of simulation platform is proposed combining with hardware and software system and semi physical of the NI PXI.The hardware system is made up of real-time PXI processor,PDU power management module,EA programmable power supply,signal conditioning power supply,power switch/current acquisition board,load ejector,fault injection board,controller ECU,integrated signal adjustment unit etc.The software system is composed of enDYNA engine simulation model,NI VeriStand host computer management software,FPGA custom module and Control Base-MC brush writing software.Semi physical load includes electronic throttle,injector,high pressure common rail and other physical.In the hardware in the loop simulation,the original data is loaded and is parameterized by the enDYNA software setting in the Matlab/Simulink environment.The accuracy of the model is verified preliminarily.The control algorithm to verify is transformed into an a2 l,mot file identified by the engine ECU.Then the a2 l,mot file is downloaded to ECU to verify the validity of the engine control algorithm by CAN bus.The NI PXI board,Veristand engineering and Veristand interface are configured by NI Veristand software.In a virtual environment,the test results of the engine are displayed in the Veristand virtual interface.In the system comprehensive test,the parameters of the simulation model can be configured by software.The different ECU simulation test and evaluation are completed and the flexibility of the test I improved.The platform has a key test function.After the simulation test completing,the experiment report can be generated automatically.From what has been discussed above,the hardware in the loop simulation system developed can shorten the development cycle,reduce the engine test cost,and high fidelity to the real project.
