In recent years,with the rapid development of concrete-face rock-fill dam,there have emerging a number of new construction technology.Where in the technique of extruded concrete side wall has been widely used because of the obvious advantages in terms of construction.Despite the construction method of extruded concrete side wall has many advantages,people are not very clear about many aspects of it for it's short application to concrete face rock-fill dam.For example,currently there has occurred different degree of deformation in the construction of concrete-faced rock-fill dam adopting technology of slope reinforcement with extruded concrete side wall,then we need to remove and repair finished side wall,which will not only affect the mechanical performance of side wall but also be very adverse to duration control.So it is very necessary to figure out the deformation law of upstream slope during the construction of high concrete-faced rock-fill dam and how to reduce the deformation.This thesis briefly described the constitutive model of rock-fill dam materials and the three-dimensional finite element theory of concrete-faced rock-fill dam.With extruded concrete side wall as the research object,using finite element program ANSYS,in accordance with construction realities of Longbeiwan concrete face rock-fill dam in Hubei Province,this thesis conducted stress and strain analysis of three dimensional nonlinear finite element,the main content as follows:1)By simulating the deformation process of crushing side wall during the construction of concrete face rock-fill dam,we studied the deformation law of rock-fill dam during construction period and the development law of crushing side wall deformation resulting from deformation in dam body.According to the monitoring data,deformation of the dam body during construction and crushing side wall was analyzed systematically.And through comparing the calculation result of the three-dimensional simulation analysis and the measured data,we verified the reasonableness of three-dimensional simulation analysis of the dam.2)Dam filling program has been adjusted according to the calculation result which showed that the deformation of extruded sidewall during construction was significantly reduced after adjustment dam filling the order.3)According to the calculation result,we have conducted a systematically comparative analysis on the effect of the different terrain valley,damming material properties and partitions,the cover layer thickness and modulus on the deformation law of extruded sidewall during construction.Through this analysis,we obtained some useful conclusions that can provide a useful reference and a reliable basis for future design and construction of extrusion sidewall.
