Study On Public Space Design In Reuse Of Industry Heritage

Industrial heritage is an important part of human culture heritage.It is also is the important content of city memory,even can be significant of City image.Since reform and opening up,the urbanization in our country have been accelerating,with the rapid expansion of urban and industrial structure adjustment,many factories in the city had migrated outward,and left a large number of industrial heritage.The update and reuse become an important issue.Under the influence of the global culture creative industry.It has become an important form of industrial heritage transformation in our country to reuse industrial heritage for cultural and creative industry center.In condition of the current shortage of urban public space,cultural creative industrial center's public space as an important part of urban public space,with the enormous potential and value.It has important research significance to explore the method of the reuse of public space and fully realize the value of the public space.In this background,the paper focus on the public space of cultural and creative industry center which is transformed from the industrial heritage as the research object.The paper intends to use some methods such as literature review,field investigation,comparison,synthesis induction to research paper topics.The paper choose five representative cultural and creative industry center in Taiwan and do in-depth investigation and analysis of them.Then,these analysis help the paper to get some revelation.Combined with cases of China and abroad,the paper put forward some design methods of the public space in this kind of industrial heritage.The train of the paper consist of three parts: put forward the research question,analyze problems,solve the problem.The paper divided into four chapters to illustrate.The first chapter introduce the research background,defining the relevant concepts and the research content and expounding the significance of research project.Combined with domestic and foreign research and practice,The chapter put forward methods and framework.The second chapter is basic analysis of the outer space of the industrial heritage and the cultural and creative industry center.This paper extract the value of industrial heritage reuse and cultural and creative industry center's public space,and analyze the relationship between protection and reuse.The third chapter is analysis of the five mature case research.First,this chapter introduce the basic situation of the case and analyze the position,function,environment,applicable people and activities of five cultural and creative industry center.Then,this chapter mainly analyzed public space,including the center surrounding urban space form,its internal flow line,analysis the hierarchy,shape,dimension and interface of public space in the center.Finally,the chapter summarizes the influence factors of the public space,put forward the design principles.The fourth chapter contain the research contents and results.Through the research of the third chapter,the fourth chapter put forward the design method from three directions: dissolving in the space of the city boundary,integration of multiple spaces,improving the public space integrity and improving comfort level.The last part is the conclusion of the full text and some prospect to build the public space in the reuse of industrial heritage.
