The Satisfaction Survey Of Public Seats In The Street In The Main Urban Areas Of Xi'an City

With the development of the quality of urban life and people are close to the nature,the street park has became an important place for recreational activities of city residents.Public seats as leisure service facilities need to take on various ways to rest,pay attention to people's physical and psychological needs and improve the overall style of the street park.Therefore,it's essential to investigate and analyze the present situation and residents' satisfaction of the public seats in the street park.This paper first summarizes the relevant theories of residents' satisfaction and recreation,and systematically analyzes the mechanism and influencing factors of residents' satisfaction of public seats,and constructs the survey system of residents' satisfaction of public seats.Then,through investigating and analyzing the street park in Xi'an,then collecting and collating of the literature,four street gardens are selected to do the investigation and analysis.Finally,the paper summarizes and analyzes the results of residents' satisfaction of public seats,and then design principles and recommendations.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Research on residents' satisfaction of public seatsThrough literature research,combining the investigation and system analysis method,the mechanism and the influence factors of public seating satisfaction of residents of the street parks.The study shows the public seating satisfaction of residents is made up of three aspects:the overall environment of the street park,conditions of the seats and residents' perception.what's more,it puts forwards that residents' satisfaction is influenced by public seats' use value,aesthetic value and cultural value.(2)Construct the survey system of residents' satisfaction of public seatsThe construction of the survey system is based on the scientific principle,systematic principle,simple and feasible principle,and the principle of combining qualitative and quantitative.The construction of the survey index system includes a survey target,three indicator layers and fifteen factor layers.The weight value of the survey index system is calculated by AHP analytic hierarchy process,which lays the foundation for the following investigation and analysis.(3)The empirical study of residents' satisfaction of public seatsThrough screening,the New Era Park,Wen King Park,the Civilian Grove Park and Tian lang City Park are the objects of investigation.After calculating and comparing the basic data from the field survey and investigation,we can get the ranking of residents' satisfaction.The survey results show that the New Era Park gets the highest satisfaction,followed by the Civilian Grove Park,Wen King Park,and Tian lang Park gets the lowest satisfaction.(4)Analysis on the survey results of the residents' satisfaction of public seatsBy using a single value index analysis and comprehensive value analysis on the survey results,and the residents' satisfaction degree of four street parks is presented by cluster histogram shape chart and radar map.According to the results of the image display,combined with the understanding of the use of the public seats in the interview,we can analyze the reasons of the satisfaction score.Comprehensive analysis shows that the use value of public seats is the most important,the most critical of which is comfort and quantity;aesthetic value and humanistic value is relatively minor,but the residents still want to have a better environment.(5)Design principles and recommendations of public seatsThrough the investigation and analysis,aiming at the public seats of the street,we put forward the function principle,the principle of comfort,the principle of landscape and the principle of safety based on the principle of people-oriented.Aiming at the each value index of public seats,some suggestions are put forward as follows: the use value in line with the demand of the sustainable development of ecological,human body engineering standards and outdoor safety protection requirements;the aesthetic value should focus on the landscape and psychological perception of the seat;humanistic value should focus on park theme and humanistic care.Finally,summarizing the research results,and put forward the shortcomings and expectations for the future.
