Research On The Application Of PLM Technology In Special Vehicle Design

With the rapid development of economy and information globalization,the manufacturing industry now is facing not only more intensive challenges,but also unprecedented opportunities,the policy of reforming traditional manufacturing industry with information technology has been proposed from a national point of view.In order to respond quickly to market demand,improve product quality and service level,shorten the delivery cycle,the new product development cycle of traditional manufacturing enterprises is confronted with severe challenges.This dissertation applies the concept of product style life-cycle,takes the special vehicle design as an example,through the study of the practical problems such as product data coding,product data standardization,archive changing process etc.,during the application of PLM system in the course of special vehicle design,carries out the design work of a tank car and its components.From the perspective of research and development of special vehicles,making investigate and research in requirements for PLM system of special vehicle.After summarizing the research information,comparing the functional property of module of PLM system itself possesses,fitting actual needs of a R&D department's designing business,putting forward the functional requirements of special vehicle PLM system accurately,to guarantee the effect of the special vehicle PLM system implementation in terms of sources.Take the product coding rule,graphic standards and the requirements setting of process changing for instance,carry out basic data standardization research which is applicable for the application of the PLM system of this R&D department.The standardization of basic data is the essential premise and integral part on the application and implementation of PLM system,avoids the occurrence of “having system but no using” phenomena in the process of applying the PLM system from the perspective of system.Application of PLM system in a tank designing work,universal design work of a auto component by PLM ideas,as the achieved case of application of special vehicle PLM system,the study of application of PLM system in special vehicle designing field has been carried out.Although the special vehicle has a "specialization" structure characteristic,the application of PLM system can still carry out a series of serialization and universal design work,and obtain good results as well.
