The Analysis Of Safety Investment And Safety Performance Of Falling Accidents In Building Construction

Construction industry is one of the pillar industries of the national economy,its output and quantity of employees is large. With its steady development,the governments also constantly improve the laws and regulations of construction safety,increase the intensity of safety supervision,the level in construction safety management has been greatly improved. But also easy to find,the situation of safety production is still grim,the total amount of the accident is still great.The rate of falling accidents is highest which usually account for 1/3-1/2 of the total number of accidents. The loss and harm effect caused by accidents are immeasurable in terms of economic or social. Inadequate security investment in construction projects,low efficiency in security investment,unproper safety investment structure and many other issues are the main cause to laeding the accidents. With the research on safety investment of falling accidents in construction projects by DEA model,it can prevent the occurrence of falling accidents to some extent, alleviate the grim situation of the high incidence of accidents in construction industry.Firstly,the theory of falling accidents in construction projects,accident-causing and safety investment and safety performance are introduced. By the method of literature analysis,case studies,field research interviews,combined with the accident causion theory. The factor leading to falling accidents are analyzed from the aspects on man-material-environment-management system engineering by fault tree analysis.Secondly,based on the literature analysis,the analysis of safety investment on the factors leading to falling accidents and field research interviews,safety investment indicators of falling accidents are builded,and the composition and the main sources of funding safety investment are described. Through the investment of the 9th Teaching Building,8th Teaching Building,Apartment of Young Teachers,Research Building of NFU and a mobile project in Hainan,safety-related investment data are collected.Through interviews with experts and scholars, the proportion of safety investment of falling accidents are extracted to get the final safety investment data.Then,the aspects on safety performance is analyzed on the basis of literature research,the dimension on safety performance is measured into safety behavior and safety results and through the method of questionnaires,the safety performance score of the five projects are measured.Finally,the DEA method theory is introduced. Through C2 R model and the SE-C2 R model of DEA model,the relationship between safety investment and safety performance of falling accidents on the five construction projects based on DEA is proposed to analysis and improvements in all aspects of safety investment are suggested.
