According to the International Energy Agency statistics, building energy consumption in the world's terminal energy consumption accounted for more than 40%,building energy efficiency has attracted the attention of the world, the use of building energy simulation software to simulate and analyze the building is becoming more popular. In recent years, with the development of the real estate industry, building energy consumption has increased year by year, China should build up energy,environment, population sustainable development society, improve building energy efficiency, reduce building energy consumption is imperative.In this paper, through the literature review, research on building energy consumption in China and the latest information, the overall idea of building energy consumption, the paper introduces the working principle of three kinds of simulation software, Ecotect, DeST and EnergyPlus, and use three kinds of software tosimulatethe same building load, and summarize their characteristics.In this paper, the actual case is a residential building in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Measurethe temperature andrelative humidity of seven different orientation and function rooms inthe residential building. Through the comparison of the temperature and relative humidity data, it is concluded that master bedroom due to the use of air conditioner could better improveindoor thermal and moisture environment,which can reduce adjacent room temperature 1 ~ 2??However,it can't not guaranteed that the non air conditioning and air conditioning rooms have the same thermal effect,and adjacent to the kitchen and bathroom mean temperature difference of 2 ?.The results showed that thepeoplebehaviorhas a significant environmental influence of indoor thermal and moisture environment.Then usingDeST and Energy Plusto simulate the case, and get the relevant data. By comparing the simulation results with actual results, the DeST and EnergyPlus can calculate the energy consumption and indoor thermal environment, but because of the difference between indoor and outdoor, the simulated data and the measured data are different. The reason is that the temperature of the air conditioning room is changed,and the temperature difference is 4?. Simulate the simulation databyEnergy Plus andthe measured data are basically consistent, but the other room data is different. Through the simulation data and the measured data, the simulation software can be used to analyze the energy consumption in the initial stage.Finally, by using DeST and EnergyPlus software to analyze the influence of building envelope on building energy consumption, and the paper found that the insulation layer can reduce the building energy consumption and meet the indoor comfort requirements by the thickness of 0.4m. This method can be used in the construction of energy-saving.
