In electric power systems,thermal power generation and diesel power generation is commonly used.They give priority to consumption of fossil fuels.The fuel efficiency is low and there are serious environmental pollution problems.As power demand is increasing and fossil fuels is reducing,distributed generations become a new trend.Distributed generations include power generation with liquid or gas as the fuel of internal combustion engine,the micro gas turbine power generation,solar power generation,wind power generation,biomass power generation and so on.There are a lot of advantages of power generation using clean energy as fuel gas internal combustion engine.Such as its volume is small,its operation is reliable,its efficiency is high,it can cause less environmental pollution.So the distributed generation is widely used.The model of gas generator is the key for its operation.The accuracy of the model parameters of gas generator is the basis of the accuracy of the model.So it is very important to identify the parameters of the gas generators.According to the characteristics and models of gas generator,the gas generator model can make Park transformation and then it can divide into mechanical model and electrical model.The Five order model of gas generator model is chosen in this article.The model of gas generator can also include its speed control system model and excitation system model.The Strong Tracking Filtering(STF)have many advantages.It has a good robustness.It is strong to track the steady state and the mutation status.Especially when the system is mutated,STF algorithm has a very good tracking ability.Its amount of calculation is small.So it is very suitable for gas generator model parameters identification.In this article the STF algorithm is used to identify mechanical parameters and electrical parameters of gas generator.Making load mutation in the gas generator or adding white noise in measuring link,effect on the accuracy of parameter identification results by using STF.Then compare the identification of the results using STF with the identification of the results using least squares.The identification error by using STF algorithm is smaller precision than that by using the least squares.It is concluded that the identification precision of parameter identification based on STF algorithm is high.It has good robustness.The STF algorithm is applied to the project of gas generator.According to the change of each variable,identify the mechanical parameters and electrical parameters of the system.Then verify the accuracy of identification results using STF.
