This thesis went along with the "The accuracy of the different simplified generator model and the research of modeling based on special operating mode", which is a sub-project of the National Technology R&D Program "Modeling Theory and Technical Study on Safety Analysis of Great Power Grid". The main works are summarized as follows:1. Analysis of two standard parameter models of synchronous machine based on different hypotheses are made, which are used in power system simulation. The research of influence to standard parameters by different definitions and gaining methods are made.Afer the analysis of four sets of standard parameters provided by manufactory, the discrepancy in design value and classic definition are found.2. The matlab program used in simulation of dynamic process of generator standard parameter model is build. Simulating several representative dynamic process of generator,such as three phase short circuit, large disturbance of infinite bus system, static and transient stability, the influence of different generator models and standard parameters to dynamic response shows up.3. Measuring parameters of 10KW generator model, the contrast of parameters based on different methods is made.
