With the development of society and economy,users' demand for power supply reliability is increasingly high.Distribution automation(DA)becomes an important way to increase power supply reliability.However,the achievement of DA need huge investment.It is necessary to insist to plan in advance.The DA in south grid of Hebei province is still at its early stage,a research on DA is indispensable considering limited capital and various power supply areas.In this paper,the intelligent improvement engineering in south grid of Hebei province is the research object,which covers two aspects below:1.This paper puts forward a method to determine the DA construction sequence according to city and power supply area considering the unbalanced development and different networks in six cities in Hebei province.The method to arrange DA according to power supply area covers three factors,the power supply area priority,city priority and scores to reflect situation of grid.After reading the raw data like load density,N-1 percentage,power consumption and failure rate,the paper works out a practical DA scheme and achieves it by a program with C#.2.The layout of terminals is a vital aspect of DA.A sensible scheme needs to balance reliability and cost.Confronted with the combination optimal problem,the paper applies the tool BPSO to deal with three aspects of terminals layout,type,number and location.The method saves calculation a lot and increases efficiency,which is verified in a typical feeder in Baoding.
