Research On The Design Of Minitype Residential Space For Youth Groups

Nowadays,with the rapid pace of urbanization in Chinal,a series of words are emerging,such as,“Dwelling Narrowness”,"capsule apartment","ant tribe" and so on.These words directly reflect the contemporary urban youth groups facing severe housing problems,minitype residential space has therefore been proposed.From the architectural point of view,miniaturization of living space is an effective measure,favored by urban youth.But,the study of small miniature living space is relatively small,especially in theoretical research.The author puts forward this topic to pay attention to the design of minitype residential space to meet the needs of urban youth,with a view to improving the living status of young people on the basis of reasonable reduction of area.Minitype residential space plays a role in the structure of the residential type,which is the supplement of the large and medium-sized units in the city,and has the theoretical significance of perfecting the existing residential space pattern.The study should not be limited to perfect its design practice and design strategy,it should also have some interpretation of its design standards in order to achieve the theory of the system,the rationality of the data,the logic of the design and research guidance and other purposes.Based on the theory of behavioral architecture,this paper analyzes the behavior characteristics,lifestyles,living needs and living conditions of urban young people aged23-35 years,and obtains the functional allocation and spatial demand of young people.And then through the interviews with professionals to analyze the relevant norms of the breakthrough items,summed up for minitype residential space design standards and functional standards,and these data applied to the practice of the project.Finally,combined with practice,case and research,this paper summarizes the multi-dimensional and multi-adaptive of small-sized residential space from six aspects: "one-dimensional streamline,two-dimensional plane,three-dimensional space,four-dimensional time",modular space and multi-function furniture.At the same time,according to the current social development,the future development trend of small miniature living space and the further research direction of this subject are forecasted,which will provide useful reference for the next design work.
