As the carrier of urban material and information,urban road network is the link between function lands of city and a bond of internal connection,which also affects the city's functional layout.Residential land is an important part of urban construction land.As the start point of city traffic,residential land is the place where large traffic stream comes from and collects.Therefore,the operational efficiency of the traffic network in the residential area is related to the overall efficiency of the whole city.Based on the above,this paper will analyze cases of foreign outstanding residential area and establish the model to analyze parameters for domestic selection cases.First of all,starting with the foreign cases of the motor vehicle network system and its relationship to the bus station,and the bicycle network system,the walking network system,this paper makes analysis of their experience in road network,public transport station layout and slow system,and aims to provide reference for the domestic residential area road network construction.Secondly,this paper analyzes the rules of travel mode of main urban residents in China,including travel time,travel distance and travel mode of commuter travel,primary and middle school students' travel,shopping trip and so on.Within the scope of the study,the resident travel paths are summed up as related traffic conversion nodes,which are the main road intersections connected with the cities,subway stations,bus stations,primary schools,secondary schools,and the main business points.By building a GIS urban model for residential buildings to these main facilities,this paper could obtain the parameters such as bypass coefficient,OD distance and path distance.Through the quantitative analysis of each data set,the problems in the range of travel path coefficient will be found and be analyzed specifically.By analyzing the data of each group,detour coefficients of six main travel behaviors in the case of the domestic four kinds of different network form will be found.Finally,by referring to both the experience of the foreign residential area road network planning and traffic organization,and the quantitative analysis of four domestic cities,this paper will summarize residential area road network organization and points of traffic organization from the perspective of network building.
