The Study Of Landscape Design Of Rainwater Garden

Associated with modern theory research about rainwater gardens both in China and aboard,this article studied landscape application of rainwater gardens when designing parks and the way how rainwater gardens are applied into landscape was concluded.Meanwhile,I collected and analyzed present engineering and technology methods correlated with rainwater gardens.After studying their structure and landscaping form,I attempted to summarized how rainwater gardens utilize rain and landscape the environment in city gardens.Compared with design cases of park scale home and abroad,I searched for developing trend of rainwater gardens in the future.Studying Wujiashan Park in Hengdong,for example,the theory of rainwater gardens were applied and design was analyzed and accomplished.The main results are as following:(1)According to the study of the concept of rainwater garden at home and abroad,a rainwater garden could be considered as a landscape greenbelt with high value of landscape which includes basic units or variants of rainwater gardens and collect and purify rain using technology of those garden,resulting in sustainable utilization of water,and harmony between art and design of plants,geography and construction.(2)On the basis of the study of theory of rainwater around the world,it developed different theory in different countries.Interestingly,compared with development aboard,the domestic technology has matched in the aspect of theory.However,rainwater gardens could be applied practically because of lack of relevant policy,and landscape study of them is still superficial.(3)Analyzing typical rainwater gardens in the world,they could not only be set as small and medium-sized landscape,but also applied into the integral project of a park in the landscape of parks.As the development of standard of living and spiritual culture,there is a bright prospect for rainwater gardens with functionality and ornamental value.(4)Researching facts of Wujiashan Park applying the theory of rainwater gardens,the network of a rainwater garden could be established in the park based on variants and abstraction of the garden's units,which could integrate a park as a system,creating rainwater landscape with high value of art.(5)Considering that the theory about rainwater parks has been applied into Wujiashan Park,this park would relief rainfall flood in Hengdong and produce good eco-environment for the development of this city in the future.
