Research On The Utilization Of Rain Water In Urban Landscape

Our country is one of the 13 water-scarce nations,and cities generally are also facing the crisis of water shortage.The constant accelerating of the process of urbanization not only exacerbates the over-exploitation of the groundwater resources,but also destroys the ecological environment of the city.With the persistent urban sprawl,the original geological and hydro logical conditions has been changed.When the storm flood comes,the urban internal water logging disaster occurred frequently.Thus it can be seen that,cities are facing the dual problems of water shortage and internal water logging.The main reason for these problems is that when cities began their rapid development,people ignored the rational layout of the urban drainage pipe network and ignored the constructing of rainwater utilization type garden landscape for ecological cities,and thus the rain water can not be used reasonably.Rain water,as a kind of natural water source,has the property of direct and economy with great potential,and appropriate utilization can recharge part of the city water resource to alleviate urban water shortage as well as reducing the occurrence of water logging disaster.Focusing on the utilization of rain water in urban landscape,this paper explores the relationship between rainwater utilization and urban landscape in response to the construction of ecological city in our country.By analyzing and summarizing the current status of rainwater utilization in cities and relevant theory and practice home and abroad,the author concludes the feasibility of rainwater utilization in urban landscape.The author introduces the fundamental measures to make use of rain water,including retention,infiltration and filtration;and the author also introduces the methods of rain water utilization including direct,indirect and comprehensive methods thus to put the rain water utilization methods in landscape into reality.This paper is based on the practical application of rain water in park system to realize the combination.
