Vehicle traffic as an important part of signalized intersection of the city,its operating characteristics directly affects the operational efficiency of the intersection.In this paper,a series of questions related to the safety of urban motor vehicle traffic signal intersections exist,from the driver's point of view for the traffic environment hazard perception point of view,by studying the intersection of safety assessment technology assessment of urban signalized intersection level of security,and propose measures to improve the programs to enhance intersection safety and reduce the accident rate and ensure the quality of people's travel.Firstly,select the intersection as a research base within Tianjin,by means of manual observation method,comprehensive field investigation,the imaging method,access to the geometric characteristics of urban signalized intersection,and behavioral characteristics of motor vehicle drivers and traffic flow characteristics data,the initial impact of the intersection of motor vehicles to obtain a driver safety characteristic factors.Then,the paper analyzes the behavior characteristics of the driver's safe passage to the intersection of influence,mainly in two ways: first,it analyzes the psychological factors of the driver,and came to the intersection of geometric design,the driver of the inherent factors and traffic factors are driving on the driver will cause varying degrees of impact,and thus indirectly affect traffic safety;second aspect,summarizes the characteristics of the driver's behavior in driving behavior in a brief introduction of the driver's car-behavior,changing lanes and self-protection,and other common driving behavior.Then,the paper identified 19 safety evaluation,and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is based on results based on driver safety evaluation model hazard perception psychology,and by Tianjin South Road and Chengxiang Road,Rongye Street intersection the survey data will be used in safety evaluation level model instance,after a series of calculations,analysis and verification,comprehensive evaluation of the sample results.Finally,we propose including the impact of the driver's intersection geometric design factors,quality improvement measures traffic participants of factors,including factors traffic channelization;then,Tianjin South Road and Chengxiang Road,Rongye Street intersection this intersections were an actual traffic environment for this intersection redesign and improvement,combined with VISSIM traffic simulation software validation has improved traffic flow order;and finally,re-use model for intersections were improved sample collection and evaluation,re-evaluation of the final results of the safety level of the sample to verify the evaluation program and improving the effectiveness of the measures.
