In recent years,with the rapid development of SUVs and high CG vehicles,the rollover safety has raised lots of concerns.In all types of traffic accidents of vehicle,the rollover accident in high speed steering is particularly prominent.As a result,the research of vehicle rollover safety has drawn more and more attention.Therefore,it is necessary to develop the vehicle rollover prediction system and anti-rollover control system to improve the roll stability and avoid rollover accidents.This paper focused on chassis active control strategy of rollover prevention based on preview & predict model.The research object was high CG vehicle,such as SUV.Three degree of freedom vehicle model and preview driver model were established after the deeply research on dynamic rollover model.Then the vehicle rollover prediction as well as the vehicle rollover prediction index was discussed.After that the rollover prediction model and vehicle rollover prediction system based on active suspension were established.Then,the vehicle anti-rollover fuzzy controller by the active suspension torque control was established,and then the anti-rollover control strategy was studied.Finally,the vehicle anti-rollover control system including the preview driver model and the rollover prediction system were established,and the simulation analysis was carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control system and control strategy.In the conventional rollover index,only the parameters of the vehicle dynamics at the moment were taken into account,and the judgment of the overall tendency of the vehicle motion state was neglected,and the rollover threshold was difficult to determine.In the calculation of the rollover early warning algorithm,it is assumed that the vehicle input was constant and the computational real-time efficiency depend on the dynamic model of the vehicle.At the same time,the calculation results need to be further complicated.Based on the above reasons,this paper introduced the derivative of LTR into the rollover index,to get PLTR,and then introduced the preview driver model to the calculation of PLTR to get a new rollover index PPLTR.The vehicle rollover prediction system was achieved through the preview driver model and the rollover prediction index calculation model.Finally,a fuzzy control strategy and a fuzzy controller based on the active suspension were established.The active control to anti-rollover was realized by the predictive time setting of the rollover prediction system.The control logic was based on the fuzzy control theory,and the control signal input came from the rollover prediction system.The input signal was based on the rollover prediction which could predict the rollover in advance.So the active control of vehicle rollover tendency was realized by the controller.
