In order to meet the synchronization of multiple terminal time simultaneous measurement of demand,realize the time interval measurement of multi-channel,wide range of requirements,the time interval measurement method of parallel multi channel,the method of theoretical analysis,system design,FPGA implementation and simulation and verification on the platform and test based on the performance of the system.The paper first describes the research background,research status,as well as the design of the basic content,but also the content of the general planning,and illustrates the innovation of this paper.The specific technical indexes of multi channel parallel measurement of time interval are given,and the factors affecting measurement are explained.Secondly,based on the analysis of the common time interval measurement methods,the design of the dual channel time interval measurement is firstly introduced.The working principle is explained in detail and the design scheme is defined.According to the above theoretical research,implementation of multi channel parallel time interval measurement,in the description of the working principle and the design scheme of the two at the same time,implementation difficulties are analyzed and resolved,the time interval of multi channel parallel measurement can be realized.The first is to solve the difficulty in separating the closing signal under the premise,to identify when to start counting,when the end of the second count;the difficulty is to distribute the pin number to ensure parallel output,time interval measurement can realize large range.According to the design scheme,the reference reference clock is selected to be 250 MHz,and finally,a multi-channel parallel measurement of the measurement resolution of 4ns and the measurement time of 8s is achieved.Then through the FPGA simulation platform to design each function module function simulation and verification,and the dual channel time interval and time interval of multi channel parallel measuring method for functional simulation and verification,simulation results are given.The simulation results show that the measurement method designed in this paper can realize multi-channel parallel measurement of time interval.Finally,the design of test method and platform is designed,the content of the test is planned,the stability test,accuracy test and comparison test are completed,and the test results are obtained and analyzed in detail.The test results show that this method can realize parallel measurement of 12 channel time interval,the measurement resolution is 4ns,and the standard deviation of measurement time interval can reach 1.9ns.
