A Study On The Residential Group Space Of Typical Determinant Layout From The Perspective Of Resident Behavior

It is valuable to research human-oriented residential group space of determinant layout,which is an important layout pattern of residential district planning and design,under the condition of the urban space design status of ignoring the needs of residents and the social status of the lack of the sense of spatial identity and belonging of residents.The paper focuses on the relationship between the characteristics of the group space of typical determinant layout and the resident behavior,to research the spatial factors that affect the distribution of behavior.Based on districts in Xuzhou,according to the planning and design theory of residential area,combined with the common four kinds of determinant layout techniques by investigation,selecting eight group spaces,drawing on the theory of urban square space,using typological analysis,classifying their morphological types and functional types,four types of plane geometries,three scale types,four interface types,and five types of road connections were obtained,also,ten space function configuration elements acquired.The behavior maps of eight group spaces were gainded in weekday and weekend by method of behavior mapping what is used to understand the service conditon of each group space,to analyze the distribution characteristics of behavior types and behavior subject attibute in different time,to explore the pattern of resident behaviors.Comparing the data of resident behavior and space morphological and functional types,using the behavioral frequency index to analyze the relationship between spatial types of elements and behavior,the spatial characteristics associated with behavior were achieved at last,the results show that:(1)Trapezoidal plane,2 < D/H < 3 type scale,backyard transitional interface and oblique type road connecting the space has a strong induction of behavior;(2)Leisure square and exercise square have a strong attraction for residents,and the leisure plaza and road have a high level of behavioral diversity.According to the analysis results and the corresponding spatial status,the five design strategies,which are optimizing spatial plane,riching spatial hierarchy,softening space interface,compositing space function and enhancing space quality,are proposed to promote the residents to communicate,enhance the residents' sense of belonging and identity of group space,provide reference for the planning and adjustment of the group space of determinant layout and create a dynamic,mutual trust,harmonious neighborhood environment for residents.
