Reconstructive Design Of Street Landscape Based On "Organic Renewal"

With the continuous evolution of city,the view and style of street,which plays an important part of city,always change accordingly.In fact,both the matching of the development of city and street,and objective demand of people for street landscape,urge street landscape to be constantly updated and perfected.This paper chooses non-historic street landscape environment as the research object of constructive design.Although not as cultural as the historic streets,it is the most common part of modern city.Therefore,constructive design of this kind of street landscape is more universal.Based on present situation and results at home and abroad of relative theoretical researches,this paper expounds further understanding of the theory of’Organic Renewal".It takes the environment of street view as a whole and aims to the coordination among elements and sustainability in the process of reconstruction of street landscape.More specifically,this paper first introduces the overview of Hefei landscape,expressing the necessity of the reconstruction of the street view under the demand of new development of Hefei.Then,this paper investigates and studies variety of streets in Hefei and summarize the common problems among them.At last,this paper chooses the street view of Ningguo road which is both representative and characteristic.From the micro level,this paper investigates the present situation of Ningguo road by collecting questionnaires and analyzing them,trying to come up with a solution to it.Based on the theory of "Organic Renewal",this paper uses the theory of street view design to put forward general design principle and goal for the reconstruction of the view of Ningguo road,mainly from five aspects:street architecture,landscape planting,street facilities,road pavement and transportation system,hoping to achieve a brand-new and better face of the road.
