Analysis Of Quiteness In Contemporary Japanese Architecture Space

Japanese architecture is playing an more and more important role in international status,and there have been seven Japanese architects won the Pritzker Prize,which is related to their spirit of keeping pace with the times,meanwhile being rooted in their own tradition.In the process of the spread and development of modernist architecture,Japanese architects have never forgotten the traditional culture of their own country,and considered it as a core which can be interrelated with the practical design of building.Now Chinese architecture is in the context of modernism,but the exploration of regional context and architectural space seems to be buried in the trend of globalization.We hope that we can provide some useful reference for the future of Chinese architecture,by studying the conception "quietness",which means the commonality of Japanese traditional culture and architectural space,and drove by the cultural connotation and national spirit,exploring the inheritance relationship between Japanese sstraditional culture and modern architecture.The concept of "quietness" is embodied in Japanese culture and architectural design.The author defines it as the respect for nature rather than the resistance to the environment.it’s an ambiguous relationship,and it shows the static beauty through the aesthetic view.And then It is analyzed by culture and architecture respectively,expound from three different aspects,which is geographical factors,religious philosophy and aesthetic ideas,so as to find out the cause and the embody of quietness.And the author try to illuminate the existence and cultural trace of quietness,which based in the Japanese architects,therefore,we should study the traditional architecture such as tearoom or the shrine that related to the tea ceremony and religion,we should also focus on the productions of modern Japanese architects.To sum up and combined with the design of contemporary architecture in the world,there are five strategies to achieve the quietness of space-wall disposal,boundary indistinctness,enhance shadow,change sight,the function of enterclose.Based on the above analysis,and finally put forward the characteristics of the quietness of Japanese architecture,-embeddedness,inheritance and diversity.The paper has obtained the following useful theoretical results:Proposing the "quietness" of Japanese architectural space as the starting point,and indicate the theoretical direction of modern architectural space research in Japan.Summarized the methods of Japanese cultural and architectural inheritance.In the face of the conflict between international style and nationalism,contextualism of the temporal and spatial situation,How could contemporary Chinese architecture express the vital force through its own characteristics and sustainable development?We hope that we could seek out the inspiration and reference value through the conception "quietness" studied from the architectural space of Japan.
