Analysis On Space Of Changsha Traditional Historical Streets

Changsha historic street and alleys is the left historical treasures of the ancient Changsha city,it is an important part of Changsha city context with an unique history style and plentiful cultural connotation,which historical and cultural value are extremely high.It shows the characteristics of regional culture while carrying the contemporary life of the citizens.The street space is the most direct reflection of the outer space of the historic district,which is the concentrated expression of the historical features of the region.At present,most of the research on the historical district is focused on the buildings and the building groups,which is lacking systematic research about the study of the outer space of the streets and alleys.In view of the above problems,this paper takes the traditional streets and alleys space in Changsha as the research object,summarizes the characteristics of it through the collection of literature and the investigation of the present situation.The traditional historical street and alleys in Changsha is a basic unit of urban space in ancient Changsha.Before the study of its spatial characteristics,this paper carried out a large number of literature collection and consult,presented the status quo of street space researches at home and abroad and the reasons for the gradual decline of the traditional historical streets.Then elaborated the historical background and the development process of the ancient city of Changsha,which is the temperament and appearance of the historical street in Changsha,and reveals the complex composition and a lot of problems and challenges faced of the historical streets and alleys in Changsha.The core content of this paper is third,fourth and fifth chapter,conducted a survey of the status quo through the streets and buildings two levels of the traditional historical streets in Changsha,collected a large number of the status information and made a detailed classification summary,meticulously displayed its current situation.Then deeply analysised and researched the space structure through the summarized status information.Including the layout of the street space,the street interface and the street space node,the street space can be subdivided into the bottom interface,side interface and top interface.Based on the analysis of the current situation and the current research data,this paper studies the spatial characteristics of different states through the technique of DH ratio.In the sixth chapter,according to the spatial characteristics of the traditional historical streets and alleys in Changsha,the author summarizes some principles of protection and development.About the heritage of the street space characteristics,I summed up the four major initiatives,respectively aimed at space structure,space scale,continuous interface,key nodes etc.Finally,two suggestions are put forward for environmental protection and sustainable development.
