With the globalization of trade and the promotion of transport requirements for goods,the degree of containerization is increasing in the transport of goods.At the same time,the carrier in order to expand the scale of business,increase customer volume,improve customer satisfaction,to provide "door to door" transport services.Therefore,for inland areas,rail-water intermodal transport is first choice of the owner and the carrier.When the shipping company as a rail-water intermodal transport operators,how to reduce the rail-water intermodal transport operations costs,increase customer satisfaction is the core tasks of shipping company.In the context of the assumption that the rail transport service is known and the container is required to be charged on an hourly basis in the port,the minimum total cost of rail-water intermodal transport is the standard for the preparation of the container ship's schedule.The total cost of transportation for rail-water intermodal transport includes railway transportation costs,retention costs of containers in ports,the total cost of loading and unloading at ports,fixed cost of shipping vessels and fuel consumption costs.Optimizing the ship's schedule does not only have an impact on the operating costs of the route,but also optimizes the container's residence time in the port,thereby indirectly improving the container's accumulation in the port.Therefore,in the container rail-water intermodal transport,optimizing the schedule of containership has become a more valuable research topic.This paper mainly studies the containership scheduling problem under rail-water intermodal transport.First of all,this paper combs the current situation of rail-water intermodal transport,the status quo of rail-water intermodal transport,the theory of ship scheduling problem and the related research on rail-water intermodal and ship scheduling.On the basis of previous studies,the shipping schedule design based on the container waiting time at ports is established according to the characteristics of the problem.The model is a mixed-integer nonlinear programming model.Taking a Southeast Asian regional route of Maersk as an example,CPLEX software is used to solve the model.Then deal with the results.Finally,the changes of the schedule are analyzed in different arrive time of containers at ports.
