The Exploration Of The Design And Constrction Of The Fort Anzhen Of Yongan In Fujian Province

Fort Anzhen,which is located at Yangtou village in Huainan country of Yongan of Fujian province,is a large-scale dwelling with functions of both defence and living.The Fort Anzhen had been constructed for 14 years and finished in the period of Guangxu of the Qing dynasty.It has the specialist structure and the largest scale which is well preserved.Based on information from field research cartographic survey and folk interview construction background and purpose is analysed.Then the reason for the structure,the building process,the construction features and the usage as well as the protection and development is discussed,Firstly,the material used in Fort Anzhen’ construction is offered by the unique natural environment.The purpose of building the fort that is mainly defence and secondly living as well as sacrifice is determined by the turbulent social background.Secondly,according to the analysis of the location and the plan of Fort Anzhen,conclusions can be drown that Fort Anzhen is designed in order to achieve the goals of defence and living.Two principles are followed.One is to maximize the use of environment,and another is to minimize the intervention of environment.Thirdly,with the use of local natural materials,Fort Anzhen generally formed the fabricated feature.In terms of the structure of style building,the Fort Anzhen possess the double features of both stilt style and the column and the construction Chaliang is used in the main space such as ancestral hall and upper hall in order to acquire larger spaces.To realize the sustainable development of Fort Anzhen,the protection and renewal should be implied in the aspects of surrounding,the fort itself and relevant intangible cultural heritage.
