Under the condition of fluid-structure coupling thermosetting,this paper made the use of finite element analysis software called ANSYS to simulate heap container temperature field,thus we get the thermal stress in the reactor vessel wall under three kinds of status,which are general status,hot/cold status and plan to shutdown status.The result played a very important role on the reactor safety operation.This research worked on ANSYS WORKBENCH analysis software platform,simulated the temperature and thermal stress field in the reactor vessel wall.There were two points to be summarized for this paper.1.The computational fluid software called CFX had been used to simulate the whole fluid field contained in the fast reactor vessel wall.In order to get the more accurate information,the equipment and pipelines within the reactor vessel should be as meticulous as possible.Then the cold and hot sodium pool temperature field can be calculated under steady,transient and accident operation.2.When the reactors worked in the steady-state or transient-state,the ANSYS simulation software should be used to calculate,analyse and evaluate the thermal stress in main or protective vessel shell with thermo-solid coupling.And ultimately it can illustrate if the design of main and protection container structure meets the intensity of nuclear equipment specification requirements.In summary,the stress evaluation for reactor vessel showed good.Under the three kinds of working conditions,the total stress was far less than the allowable stress.It can in most cases guarantee a loop pressure boundary integrity.Meanwhile,by simplifying the structure of reactor vessel wall,the temperature field of fluid and stress field of containers can be calculated.Combining with the operation of reactor,it carried out quantitative and qualitative analysises.The thermal stress in main container was much higher than that in protection container.Otherwise it went up from outside to inside,and from the bottom to rise.and got the region of highest thermal stress was at the area of main vessel wall.For practical application,these results can play a guiding role.
