The initiative of building "the New Silk Road Economic Belt" and "the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road"("the Belt and Road")was proposed in China.The Arab States are located at the western end of the Silk Road on land and sea.The Arab States are natural and important partners for promoting "the Belt and Road".State Grid Cooperation of China has proposed the strategy of "the Belt and Road,power goes first",which will further accelerate interconnection of China and its surrounding regions and promote the development of Global Energy Internet.China and the Arab States have good complementarities in the aspect of energy supply and electricity demand.This paper mainly studies the feasibility and interconnection capacity optimization of power grid interconnection between China and the Arab States.Firstly,analyze electricity supply and demand of the Arab States,as well as the basis of power grid interconnection in the Arab States.Based on this,the feasibility of the interconnection between China and the Arab States has been analyzed from the aspects of resource complementation,national policy support and time difference complementation.From the aspects of power grid property,economic development,energy structure and national policy,the influence factors of power grid interconnection planning have been analyzed.The cost and benefit of power grid interconnection has been studied.The cost estimation method of power grid interconnected engineering has been studied.The economic benefit and environmental benefit calculation model of power grid interconnection have been proposed,and the benefit calculation method based on the optimal power flow model has been proposed.Secondly,in traditional transmission planning,it is difficult to show the overall operating level of the system based on the analysis of the typical power flow section.So the chronological simulation method was analyzed,and an interconnection benefits calculation process based on the 8760 hour chronological simulation of the year has been proposed.On this basis,the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is introduced and an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)with adaptive weight and acceleration coefficient is proposed to optimize the optimal multi-national capacity using hierarchical nesting method.In the inner layer,aiming at minimizing the cost of generating electricity in the hour,the chronological optimal power flow model considering transmission security constraints has been established to simulate the chronological operation process of interconnected system,and then the interconnected benefits are calculated.The out layer is the improved particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm,which takes the maximum interconnection benefit as the optimal target to realize the optimization of interconnection capacity.Then,the theoretical modeling method of chronological data model of the power grid interconnected system is proposed,including generating unit output characteristic model,chronological load curve model,and mesh frame simplification model.Based on the theoretical modeling method,a large amount of power data have been collected and sort out.Then the mathematical model of the interconnected system between China and the Arab States is established in the year of 2030.Using the idea from part to the whole,GCC interconnected system,pan Arab States interconnected system,China and the Arab States interconnected system have been established in turn.Finally,based on the method of interconnected capacity optimization,and power grid interconnection chronological data model proposed in this paper,the optimal interconnected planning capacity results of the interconnected systems in the Gulf States,pan Arab States,China and the Arab States interconnected power grid can be calculated.Meanwhile,the main functions of the China and Arab interconnected system have been analyzed.According to the optimal interconnected planning capacity,we have proposed two planning schemes for China and Arab interconnected power grid,and analyzed the competitiveness of electricity price in the two different planning schemes.The grid interconnection planning method proposed in this paper is suitable for the interconnection expansion planning of large power grid under the background of Global Energy Internet.It has a certain reference value for the future research of China and Arab States interconnected planning and interconnection capacity expansion.
