Side crash regulations on the strength of automobile side requests,required to use a moving deformable barrier at a predetermined speed hit the side of the vehicle,the purpose of which is to check the doors,vehicle side pillar,top or bottom pillar connection structure strength.Through the car side crash dummy to determine damage index,according to occupant injury characteristics on the right side of the door,the car side pillar confining structure optimization,to minimize the risk of occupant injury in side impact collisions.The paper on the basis of reading a lot of literature and research of automobile door safety analysis,expounds the basic theory on vehicle side crash simulation,and according to the domestic and foreign side impact regulations of the relevant requirements,build door safety of finite element model analysis effects of element size,contact type and element attributes such as parameters of simulation results.Based on the model,this paper describes the interaction between the side impact process,the wall barrier,the door sheet metal structure,the inner door panel and the occupant.Further illustrate the side wall of the relationship between strength and dummy injury,with the side rigidity by low high,occupant injury is from big to small change again big basic rules,different models of lateral confining stiffness needs to have a reasonable range,by absorbing deformation can reduce the occupant injury.Because and CAS belongs to the soul of the styling of the car,in the early development of the vehicle has been basically established later no longer changes.Therefore,in project development in to collision safety engineer is also involved in the design,avoid the design of occupant injury problems led to the.After the design is determined,mainly the process of the design of the door structure.In the process of side collision of the B pillar,door sills and door anti-collision rod,the seat cross member,roof beams are the main energy absorption and the path of force transfer,affect the door structure crashworthiness factors mainly door anti-collision rod structure and layout,door lock reinforcement plates with the section properties of the structure.Research on the improvement of door structure safety from the aspects of the thickness of the door,the section characteristics,and the overlap of the wall barrier.This paper mainly from the theory combined with actual development experience to elaborate door safety influencing factors,points out the door inner structure of CAS effect on occupant injury the importance of,and combining with the practical engineering experience that affect the door structural crashworthiness key factors and improvement ideas.
