With the global energy shortage and environmental pollution problems become increasingly serious,electric vehicles in the global context is rapidly rising,the development trend of gratifying.In the electric vehicle battery management system,the hardware circuit can usually be divided into two functional modules,namely the battery management system(BMS)and battery control unit(referred to as BCU).Which BCU is usually responsible for the battery pack charging,discharge control and battery temperature control.The automatic test system of BCU function is the research topic of this paper.This paper attempts to design an automatic test system of electric vehicle BCU function based on FPGA and virtual instrument technology.Firstly,the data acquisition card with FPGA as the control center is designed as the data source of the data acquisition system.The SOPC technology is used to add the user-defined components to the Avalon bus using the hardware and software co-design method to become the on-chip peripherals.The custom components are used to control the interface timing of the ADC,while using SOPC makes it easy to use existing IPs to reduce the time cost of duplicate designs while simplifying control with NIOS II soft-core processors Need to write C code to control the FPGA in the data reception,data cache,USB interface,and data processing.The host computer is developed using the virtual instrument technology using the Labview programming language.LABVIEW data communication on the acquisition card is similar to the operation of the file,using open-read and write-off the process to achieve the acquisition card control and data communication.Finally,the system has been tested,the indicators meet the design requirements to meet the design specifications,can achieve multi-channel parallel data acquisition,data measurement accuracy,can be used as a complete set of BCU functional test system used in electric vehicle related equipment experimental test in.
