Harbin Sun Island Slow System Application Design Research

In the wave of the economic development in China,people’s way of life has undergone tremendous changes,especially the modes of trip.According to the development of urbanization,the long way,travel inconvenience,potential security problems and drivers’ weak awareness of traffic are lead to bicycle fades out the stage of history and become a few people ‘s entertainment utility or fitness tool.Each household has a car seems to have become the standard configuration of urban life,drive to work,driving trip,shopping by car and other traffic mode are inseparable from the car;however,traffic congestion,resource consumption,climate evil,ecological damage is becoming more and more serious at the same time.Difficult to get around not only exclusive of big cities anymore,even the Harbin which located in the most northern China has become the most congested city at the top of 2016.Because of the development of car explosive,the exhaust emissions have been seriously affected the Harbin people’s living environment,meanwhile people choose to drive instead of walking and riding is more convenient but greatly reduced the urban people’s activity levels,obesity,sub-health,low immunity and other issues also be serious.The design and layout of slow-traffic system is the most effective way of low-carbon transportation,in the construction and renovation of the transport infrastructure,priority should be given to the construction of cycling and walking traffic facilities,encourage people to choose the travel mode such as public transport,cycling and walking.On the basis of the variety transportation can coordinate operation to achieve the purpose of reducing carbon dioxide emissions.This is not only able to greatly enrich the way of people travel in the city,but also can be a healthy lifestyle habits,a kind of sports and leisure quality of life,will form the city spirit of the good atmosphere,and can also become the core power of urban city’s sustainable development.Through the theoretical research of slow-traffic system,also combined with the successful cases in domestic and abroad,comprehensive environmental benefits,economic benefits and social benefits,the slow-traffic system will be used in the ‘Sun Island’ scenic area in Harbin.Comparative research and analysis the existing slow-traffic system and the standard slow-traffic system specification in the Harbin ‘Sun Island’ scenic area,to explore the road traffic function,characteristics and environmental factors,the content of the composition and characteristics of slow-traffic system of Harbin ‘Sun Island’ scenic area.The research of slow-traffic system in ‘Sun Island’ scenic area not only improve the quality of environment,also allowing more people and tourists to choose a more healthy tour and visiting way at the same time,which reflects as the famous tourist attraction in domestic and abroad,the ‘Sun Island’ is the business card of Harbin,it is also reflects its social responsibility and nature of serving the people,to create a healthy livable city.
