Based On The Typology Of The Shanghai Area "New Shikumen Building" Design Application Research

China entered a period of rapid economic development in twenty-first Century,and the urban development in Shanghai has entered a rapid development stage with the economic development.In the process of development,a large number of Shikumen buildings were demolished and replaced by a neighborhood after another high-rise residential and office buildings.Many representative Shikumen buildings due to already dilapidated disrepair,with the building of Shikumen building collapsed by the unprecedented impact of traditional Shikumen architectural culture,with the passage of time will gradually decline Shikumen architectural culture.Shikumen architectural culture is the representative of Shanghai traditional culture,with precious historical value,is a true portrayal of the modern history of Shanghai.How to protect the Shikumen building,to maintain the continuity of history,is the focus of this research.On the basis of reading a large number of domestic traditional architectural culture protection of the relevant literature,combined with ordinary construction investigation,found that the application of Shikumen building culture in the new building in the more scarce,so this paper through the research methods of typology,the architectural form of traditional Shikumen classified and summarized,on the basis of research to meet contemporary demand the new Shikumen building,and apply it to the actual project,hope that through this method,the protection of Shikumen architectural culture.Study on the culture of Shikumen building requires a thorough understanding of Shikumen buildings in Shanghai area,at the same time in the course of study also need the famous historic district protection at home and abroad for reference and analysis;in addition,the need for theory and design methods of architectural typology in the full study,based on the theoretical knowledge on the typology of Shikumen building collate.Based on this,this paper is divided into five chapters,the first chapter describes the research background,purpose and significance of the ordinary construction mainly,this chapter mainly describes the framework,background and methods of this research.The second chapter mainly elaborates the present situation of domestic and foreign historical protection and related theory,expounds the development history at home and abroad to protect the building,emphasizing the importance of protection of historical buildings,and also expatiates on the architectural typology theory.The third chapter is the key chapter,typological research on traditional Shikumen building,summarized the traditional Shikumen architectural form type,by summing up the type characteristics of ordinary construction,but also through the analysis of historical limitations of ordinary construction.The fourth chapter mainly elaborates from traditional Shikumen architecture derived with contemporary social needs of the new building Shikumen architectural forms,respectively from the plane,elevation and group analysis form.The fifth chapter mainly describes the use of new Shikumen construction in actual project.
