Reinforced concrete shear wall structure has the characteristics of large lateral stiffness,lateral bearing capacity and small deformation.It is an important structural form in the middle and high rise buildings.In the horizontal and vertical loads,the distribution of principal stress in the wall is oblique.According to current standard calculation,steel bars of shear wall are composed of horizontal rebars and vertical rebars.This reinforcements can not resist oblique principal stress directly,which can not give full play to the performance of steels and this wall has great weight.It is the starting point of this paper that how to effectively improve the seismic performance,reduce the weight of the structure,and make greater use of the material properties of the steel bars.To solve these problems,reinforced concrete hollow shear wall was proposed based on the existing researches.Reinforcement cages are placed parallel with the direction of the main stress in the wall and openings are set in the crossing area between the reinforcement cages.The hollow wall can make full use of the mechanical property of the steel bar and reduce the weight of the structure.In order to study the seismic performance of reinforced concrete hollow shear wall,the following work is done in this paper:(1)This paper introduces the research situation of reinforced concrete shear wall at home and abroad,and expounds the research background and research significance of reinforced concrete hollow shear wall.(2)under the action of horizontal and vertical load,the reinforcement was optimized with the method of GESO algorithm based on reinforcement separation model and the optimized steel bars were processed.A new form of hollow shear wall was proposed;the horizontal steel bars of the optimized wall body were removed,the adjacent steel bars were mergered,and the inclined steel bars were used in the range of the wall.(3)Three shear walls,namely traditional shear wall(PT-1),diagonal reinforced shear wall(JW-1),diagonal reinforced hollow shear wall with opening ratio of 24.94%(JW-2),were tested under low cyclic lateral loading to study seismic performance of hollow RC shear wall.Comparions were made among loading process,damage procession and failure modes about the three shear walls under the same axial pressure.Also,bearing capacity,hysteretic and backbone curves,ductility coefficient,stiffness degradation and energy dissipation capacity were analysized.(4)Numerical simulation of the three wall was completed using finite element analysis software ABAQUS,and comparisons were made with the test results in order to determine the parameters for numerical simulation and calculating model of hollow shear wall,and the influences of axial compression ratio and concrete strength grade on the performance of hollow shear wall were analyzed by using analysis software ABAQUS,which lays foundation and gives guildline for the use of howllow shear wall in engeering.
